Mew/Live Birds

The Kestrel Box - an Arizona Non-Profit Corporation

Construction is now complete on The Kestrel Box Mew (Holding Pen).  The mew is being used to hold non-releasable birds of prey that will be shown in educational presentations.  Pictures of the mew in various stages of construction are available via the links below.

Thank you to all those who gave donations to help us finish the construction.  We now have a pair of non-releasable kestrels and a female peregrine falcon that we are keeping for education.

While our construction is complete, we still lack some funding for the food and care of the birds themselves.  If you are interested in helping and would like to know more, please visit our Current Needs page for details on what we need and how you can help.
